Cataracts are treatable; however, access to this treatment is difficult for many individuals. Especially in low-income countries and regions, access to the resources and information required to treat vision loss caused by cataracts is limited. This situation significantly reduces the quality of life for many people.

  Surgical procedures are performed by experienced and specialist doctors. The failure rate is very low; however, in rare cases, additional support is provided for the patient’s treatment.
• Does the entire amount I donate go to the treatment?
  The majority of your donation is directed directly to treatment. A minimal portion is allocated to operational expenses and association costs, within the limits determined by the Ministry of Interior.
• Which other health issues do you support besides cataracts?
  As Yetim Ehli Association, we aim to support various health issues beyond cataracts. Currently, we only have cataract projects. For detailed information, please visit our website.
• Is there a minimum donation amount?
